PBS Culture Shock

It was not hard to making these decisions about the video game violence with my partner. We both agreed that the image that was shown to us could be on the homepage of the website. I have been playing violent video games since I was younger and none of those games have made me a violent person. Maybe certain people do react differently but it just depends on the person thought of mind while playing the games. In the end of the survey, it said that ~92% of people said yes to the image but ~7% of people said no, it should not. I would like to know what that 7% of people thought about the image.
I do believe that video games are a form of art, they are like fantasy games whether it uses guns or super powers it is made up. While doing the survey I did find certain images offensive. The one image I found offensive was the Andrea Mantegna's St. Sebastian, c. 1455-60. I think that violence should not be represented with a religion because it is wrong, but this is people’s opinion. None of the quotes given to me during the survey change by decision on if the image should be on the homepage. I think that violence in movies or video games are just a form to entertain people not to persuade people on being violent. As I was saying to my partner, I think racing games and movies made an impact on me more than violence games or movies.
